Odds to Win Your Bet on Week 16’s Matchup Between the Colts and Chargers

Pointspread: Colts minus 4, opponents minus 110 ()

Total: 45.0, -110 ()

The Colts are -195 point favorites, while the Chargers are +165. ()

Over 10.5 yards received by Deon Jackson, a loss of 113 yards (OKBET)

Jackson has performed admirably in the few opportunities he has been given. He had a huge game earlier this year against Jacksonville in a situation very similar to the one he is in now (Jonathan Taylor was injured), in which he caught all 10 of his targets for 79 yards and also rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown.

Although Zack Moss is now available to help shoulder the load, which makes things a little bit different, this is obviously a very small number based on his earlier performance when Taylor was out of the picture.

Over 44.5 combined rushing and receiving yards for Deon Jackson, -115. ()

Although this play is not as effective as the total receiving yards, it does make it possible for Jackson to receive all of the touches, of which there should be a lot tonight.

I would hazard a guess that he would be involved in roughly half of the Colts’ rushing attempts, in addition to probably catching a few passes. The fact that the Chargers allow the 27th fewest rushing yards per game of any team in the league also helps.

PS – I do not currently see a receptions total that is available; however, based on Jackson’s receiving yards total, it may come as low as over/under 1.5 receptions; in my opinion, a very solid play on the over would be to wager on Jackson having more than 1.5 receptions.

There is something to keep an eye out for as the day continues.

Any touchdown by Deon Jackson will earn +270 points (OKBET)

As was previously mentioned, Jackson scored a touchdown in his previous game despite Taylor being sidelined, and he is expected to account for a significant portion of the backfield touches tonight for the Colts (whether on the ground or through the air).

Good deal considering that most of the focus appears to be on Zack Moss (who is listed at +135, which is just half the price that Jackson is offering).
